Afternoon Pops!
So I wanted to take a moment to talk all about the creative genius and superstar business woman that is Doe Deere! As the Director and founder of her very own exclusive make-up brand 'Lime Crime', It was a pleasure to work with her when I was over in New York a few months back working on the NYC Against HIV
project!!!
Lime Crime is a juicy, rainbow selection of AMAZING eye shadows c
alled 'Magic Dust' and spectacular high pigment Lipsticks in lots of incredible colours from 'No She Didn't' to 'Airbourne Unicorn'. I love it all!!!!

Above is an image from one of her collaborations on a shoot with Audrey Kitching!
Ooh and you can also see the plethora of goodies nicely arranged for a contrived photo that I took! She gave me a lovely bag full of magical eyeshadows and glitters!!! My favourites are the Elf and Empress shades, they are amazing!!! I am forever on a mission to find colours that last forever and are super opaque...I have finally found them in Lime Crime!
What's even better is that she ships internationally from her online store all the way over in New York/another Galaxy!!!
CLICK to go check them out HERE!!!!
On top of all that this multi-talented ladyyy also hosts a great online zine full of lots of pretty things and make-up tutorials!!!
CLICK HERE for Doe Deere's lovely Zine!!!!
ANDDDD......if that wasn't enough....check out her magic music available on i-tunes or check out the myspace!!!
Ok...and that's that!!! This stuff totally gets my stamp of approval and I think her creative vision is awesome....I look forward to working with her again and creating some magic!!!
Love and Sparkles!

New York New York!!!

OOOH IYYA!
So...where to start...the last month or so has been pretty thin on the ground in the gossip stakes....the reason being that the past few weeks I have dedicated myself to supporting the NYC AGAINST HIV event so it's been super busy in preparation!!!
And it was totally worth it!
I spent last week over in the US based at the venue, Mid
wood High School in Brooklyn which was awesome and like stepping into a Zac Efron movie...yes please!!
Hall monitors, marching bands, flags and stuff...AMERICAN STYLE! Yes please!
I was excited to be staying with my old housemate Paige...we lived together in Hell's Kitchen when I was interning in NY a couple of years a
go...so I set up camp in Queens!!!
It was a crazy week of model castings, make-up tests, styling....all sorts and we were so lucky to have an AWESOME team helping support!!!!(THANK YOU SOOO MUCH GUYS!!!)
So you have already heard the whole spiel about the event over th
e past few weeks....see below if you haven't...so I'm just going to give you the good stuff!! For example the fun show stuff and the gossip....although there's only so much juicy gossip you can get from hanging out in a high school!!!
Ooh yes...lots of fun and pizza times....I especially liked me and Alexis being mistaken for students!!!

Yes....and I took the most spectacular tumble that you could ever imagine....broad daylight....in the middle of a road...straight into a puddle...yes...blood dripping down the leg...glasses and laptop had to be fished out the puddle....yes my cigarette was still lit!!!however...I did lose a lovely pair of tights in the whole spectacle!!!
And the show was amazing!!! It was a huge success and the auditorium was packed to bursting! We also had some of the students model in the show as well as the models!!! We had a full blown marching band in the mix complete with flag twirlers and a super special performance from the most awesome band EVER...."JAIME AND I"....check them out....www.jaimeandi.com ..watch this space for the full low down on the team, the show and special photos...COMING SOON!!!

WORD FROM NEW YORK!!!

Yo Yo Yo......
So, New York Magazine Metier attended my show at London Fashion Week....READ ALL ABOUT IT! Hear what they have to say from the other side of the Atlantic...I especially liked Scottee's reference to being likened to a cross dressing CHERUB!!!A cherub?!?!!?!?I love it!!!

"Stephen Meisel shot an editorial for Vanity Fair Fashion Rocks where about 20 models dressed as ravers gathered to celebrate cult fashion. Emma Bell and all her mignons would have fit perfectly in that photo. From the start with a witty little video of a cross dressing cherub to the vinyl parade of pastels, each piece had a story. Sitting next to three mature blondes that looked like they would enjoy a tea at the Savoy over a fried egg bikini top – I overheard gasps and giggles with the never ending statement of “that’s amazing” so yes it is true, while one may not don pink vinyl bloomers, it’s still nice to see London recognizing originality and embracing it’s Soho roots."
